A technical deep-dive into the possibilities of the Houdini Terrain tools when they came out in Houdini 16.
I tried to recreate different geological environments with layers for export into game engines.
The different environments were made into tools to used by Artists and world designers.
For this exporting I created an HDA that analyze a heightfield and cut it up into multiple heightmaps.
